Penyrallt Fach Cottage is situated on Penyrallt Home Farm,an organic dairy and sheep farm located in the beautiful Teifi Valley of north Carmarthenshire.
The cottage provides comfortable, traditional style accommodation in what was originally a 19th century piggery.
The accommodation is on one floor and comprises a well-equipped open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting-room with a very efficient wood-burning stove.
There is a large farmhouse table with seating for 4 and in the sitting-room area there is a sofa and easy chairs, in which to relax after long summer days on the beach or invigorating walks in the hills. Many books and board-games are provided, also a DAB Radio with iPod dock, TV and a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs. The cottage also has Wi-Fi Internet.
There are two attractive, simply furnished bedrooms, a double & twin. All beds are supplied with two pillows per person, duvets and Welsh wool counterpanes.
The cottage has an enclosed lawned garden with views across the valley.
One well behaved dog is welcome at a charge of £20 per week.

Penyrallt Fach is our eco-friendly holiday cottage, converted from an old Victorian piggery.
The cottage is on a Soil Association certificated organic dairy farm & is a menber of the S.A. Open Farm Network. Guests are welcome to request a guided farm walk with the farmer to see the day-to-day business of a real working farm.
Much of the furniture & fittings in the cottage have been made by the owners using timber from the sustainably managed woods on the farm.
Environmentally-friendly products are used in the cottage.

Historical Connection

Penyrallt Home Farm dates from at least the 17th century with the farmhouse being first documented in 1695.
The cottage, formerly a piggery, was built about 1865.
The farmhouse, cottage and the range of fine stone buildings are all Grade 2 listed.
