Full Description

The house is on two floors and has six rooms, and an outside terrace about 12 feet square large enough to eat outside on with a wonderful view down a valley to the Mediterranean about six miles away (three or four miles as the crow flies). It has two bedrooms, one double and one single. It is furnished quite simply with pine and cane furniture and traditional Andalusian ceramic and terracotta tiles and wooden beamed ceilings made from whole tree trunks. It has a modern cooker, electric water heater, shower and all amenities. The area is completely rural, with massive hills, deep valleys, olive trees and almond trees, orange trees, vines and goats. Although close to the sea it is right off the beaten track. Mules, goats and horses come through the streets. It is perfect for walking (except in high summer): several walks are on the walkingworld site, walks 4692 to 4695, and it’s also perfect for relaxing and visiting all the areas of interest in Southern Spain such as the city of Granada with the Alhambra. The coast which is here very undeveloped, with no golf courses, discos etc, is about 15 mins drive away, or you can walk over the hills down to the sea in about one and a half hours. For more information or to see more photos you can contact me or email me at scarapiet@hotmail.com The prices are from £180 to £260 p/w depending on the season.
